SWING CHECK VALVE

DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

Swing check valves, essential for fluid control in the oil and gas industry. It is mounted with a disc that swings on a hinge or shaft. The disc swings off the seat to allow forward flow and when the flow is stopped, the disc swings back onto the seat to block reverse flow. The weight of the disc and the return flow has an impact on the shut-off characteristics of the valve.

Standard, construction and application

Design and Manufacture: Steel check valve to BS1868, ASME B16.34 and API 6D.

Forged steel check valve: API 602.

Inspection and test: API 598 or API 6D.

Face to face: ASME B16.10

Normal Size Range: 2"-24"
Normal Pressure Rating: PN10~PN420, CLASS150~2500
Material: WCB,LCB,WC6,CF8,CF8M,CF3,CF3M
Temperature Range: -29~425 Degree C

End flange connection; ASME B16.5 (NPS ≤ 24). ASME B16.47, MSS SP-44 (NPS > 24).

The check valve can be used widely in range of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media.
