DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

Simplex Basket strainers are a type of strainer used in horizontal pipework to filter solids from fluids. They are typically designed to allow 100% flow with little pressure drop, and can be maintained in situ, providing process can be interrupted.

The filter basket is detachable and easy to clean and replace, especially suitable for occasions that require frequent cleaning or replacement of filter elements;

Standard, construction and application

Simplex basket strainer is made according to ASME B16.34. It has the structural characteristics of basket style, bolted cover, with exhaust and drain plugs.

End flange connection: ASME B16.5 (NPS ≤ 24); ASME B16.47

Face to face: ASME B16.10.

Pressure ratings: Class 150 -300

Stemperature: -10 ~ 200 °C

The simplex strainers are used in applications where the flow can be interrupted for basket cleaning. These strainers are an excellent choice for protection of pumps, meters, valves, traps, spray nozzles, and many more applications.
